Hepplewhite Inlaid Mahogany Butler's Cabinet - Inv. #10768

Very rare hepplewhite transitional inlaid mahogany butler's linen cabinet, with removable cove molded cornice, above a shallow upper cabinet with shaped original linen drawers and inset paneled doors with oval and string inlays, set on a base with a pull out butler's fitted desk compartment with fold down front, above a base cabinet with two inset paneled doors with matching oval and string inlays, raised on cutout bracket feet.

Attributed to Matthew Edgerton, Elizabethtown, New Jersey, circa 1800.

91" high, 48" wide, 22 1/2" deep
