Fine set of ten hepplewhite carved mahogany shield back dining chairs, eight side and two arms, w ith shield form backs with beaded edges, centering a pierced and cutout vasiform splat, with slip out seats set in shaped seat frames raised on square tapering front legs and raking rear legs with
connecting "H" stretchers. England, circa 1790-95. Original condition. Estate of Georges Bemberg, Noted Collector, New York City.
