Fine hepplewhite inlaid mahogany candlestand, with octagonal top with intricate geometric inlays, tipping on a double baluster turned shaft
raised on arched spider legs with string and other inlays. This stand has the base oriented to the shaft in such a way that the legs are triangular to a chair or wall, whichever is the desired placement. New Hampshire, circa 1795-1800.
