Fine hepplewhite carved mahogany wing chair, with serpentine crest and shaped serpentine wings, above rolled arms and sloping arm supports, set on square molded, tapering front legs and raking rear legs with "H" stretcher base. Massachusetts, probably South Shore, circa 1785-95. Maple, birch and pine secondary woods.
A wonderful tall wing chair - unquestionably full height.
48" high, 32" wide, 24" deep, seat height 18".
